Due to the pandemic, there has been almost nothing coming into the Paul Kirby Emergency fund in almost 2 years, but thanks to a very generous bequest from our dear friend Frank Garrahan's estate and a one time Covid relief contribution to the fund from Vivent Health general budget, the fund continues to operate and has some balance to operate from for the short term...
The Paul Kirby Fund still serves the same purpose - it is the only source of direct cash assistance for emergencies such as rent, utilities, medical expenses, and the like - the essentials that keep people with HIV from going under when they face financial emergencies.
We need your help. Amplify Austin day starts today at 6 pm, March 2nd until tomorrow 6 pm, March 3rd. With your help, we can Amplify our donations into the fund so that so many of our friends will continue to receive the help they need.
